Following on from the excitement of the introductory talks, on Wednesday 5^th October UBRacing held this year’s sign up session in the auto lab. A fantastic turn out of students, over 50 new recruits filled the lab on the first day alone.

It was great to see not only mechanical engineering students wanting to join but students from many other disciplines such as economics and medicine interested in supporting the team through manufacturing, sponsorship, business and marketing.

The wide variety of skills now present in the team will help to aid the team’s success not only in this year’s competition but hopefully also in the years to come as well.
