On the second Monday of term UBRacing held the Introductory Talk for students interested in joining the team this year.

The talk gave students an opportunity to see how they could play a part within the team. Using a wide variety of skills, the competition offers multiple opportunities for all; from the more obvious manufacturing roles to team photographer or working in the new sponsorship team.

It was great to see G31 packed full of new eager faces, with students from all years and disciplines turning up to find out more about the team. The talk explained the format of the competition and the various roles available to students. Guest speakers, Carl Hingley and Al Hall helped to explain the many benefits that can be gained from participating in Formula Student.
