During the Thursday and Friday of Welcome Week, UBRacing went into recruitment overdrive! After a brisk and early start on Thursday, the team was raring to go, tent and car in place, outside the main library for a day of marketing. The Circles of Influence funded tent stood out in the heart of campus and was the base for the day. The aim for the team was not only to recruit for this year’s team but also raise the profile of UBRacing within the University. We spoke to a lot of interesting people and are looking forward to seeing a strong turn out at the first meeting.

On the second day we decided to go for a different tactic just to let as many people as possible know what UBRacing is all about. We had The Stig’s Birmingham cousin join us for the day. The photogenic racing driver was much obliged to pose with the camera and students on campus.
